Who is Joe Russell?

Computers

Joe Russell is a computer technology enthusiast.  He first used a computer at age three, and has not let go since. Computer games were his initial interest, which helped him learn about hardware, servers, configuration, and networking.  Joe Russell has since learned about programming, databases, and about anything else that is related to computers.  He is currently working on his masters degree in Information Systems at BYU.  The information systems program has evolved him from a power user to an IT Professional. Currently, he plays Team Fortress 2 and Eve Online.

Personal

Outside of computers, Joseph Russell enjoys many hobbies.  He ran cross country and track in high school, and now enjoys working out, swimming, biking, and running.  He had a rock band in high school where he sang and played electric guitar.  He now enjoys the acoustic guitar.  When Joe moved from Dallas, TX to Provo UT, his brother introduced him to snowboarding, a sport he still enjoys today.  Joe was also a service volunteer in Sao Paulo, Brazil for two years and is fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Portuguese.
